I'm 18 years old and want to move out to go to a different college. I have a little money saved up, but I would prefer to pay less by getting help from the state. How could I apply for help, if I can, and how much can I save a month?

Housing Projects.
I do not think you can save that way, because they take a percentage of your wages. It can be in a bad area of town also for you. Stay at home or at a Job Corps Center. Earle C. Clements Job Corps. in Morganfield, Kentucky can give you information on services. You can get the number by calling 1411.There are more corps in the usa, than in Kentucky.

Here's an idea, employment. That's right, you too should earn your own way just like millions before you. Why should taxpayers foot your bills? Will you pay my mortgage?

uhm..... why does "the State" owe you rent subsidy? If you can afford an apartment then go get one. If you can afford one on your own, try getting room-mates.
