I have a set of Jefferson nickels, actually 2 sets, one set I bought and all the coins are mint state. The second set is the fun set, it took me a few year but I did put a pretty nice set together from 1938-2007 from change and going through rolls of nickels. I found them all but the 1950-D and I traded for it. The only thing I paid for was the album. My favorite nickels are the Shield nickels from 1866-1883. In fact there are 3 different nickels minted in the same year, there is the 1883 shield Nickel, the 1883 no cents Liberty head and the 1883 with cents Liberty head. There ae also 2 1938 nickels one is the Buffalo the other Jefferson. For quite a long time the nickel was very important and use a lot. Now of course you can't get much for a nickel but it once bought a large glass of beer, with free eats. Have fun with your nickels.

I don't really collect them, but for some reason I always seem to have nickels everywhere in my room, weird.
