Oh yeah! Saturday morning...I was always up before everybody just to watch cartoons. The morning usually started off with Bosco and then some quality time with Heckle and Jeckle. Afterward, some Mighty Mouse (the brave little tenor), and finishing off with Bugs. Saturday morning was the best morning, even if we had only 4 channels on that old TV. I got it all out of my system and then went outside to play the rest of the day.

Rocky & Bulwinkle...whose co-star, Dudley Do-right was soooo funny. Roadrunner, of course...and wascally wabbit Bugs...and Chip 'n Dale...and Popeye [on re-runs even 35 years ago!] and my personal faves, Sylvester [shlurp] and Tweetie-Bird--remember him swinging in his little cage and scamming Granny? My aunts loved Betty Boop [you can see her on YouTube!] ...and I personally loved [above all] the nearsighted Mister Magoo, made by the same studio which created the Singing Frog classic. United Productions, with the geniuses Steve Bosustow and Ub Iwerks running the store.

Yes, I remember those, what fun we had. I was afraid of that cartoon with Boris and Natasha though, something about the cold war and Russia at the time, and those bomb drills we had in school where wer had to go into the "cloakroom"

I'm 46. I remember Pixie and Dixie, Felix the Cat and Droopy.
I don't remember the others. My husband might, I'll have to ask him later.
