I've always been a fan of Ohlund's, as he hits, plays solid D, and contributes offensively. Bieska has played a mere 120 games in the N.

they should have let the leafs sign him("ohlund") years ago and built their team from the minors instead of a high priced underachieving "star" that said bieska is a good player who will outgrow the canucks and generate lots of interest as a restricted free agent some team will sign him to a large offer sheet when they have the chance so i guess i think he is the better player

Bieska has a lower salary and a longer future. Ohlund has seen his best days.

im gunna disagree with everyone and say Mattyyy Ohlund, Defenetly a solid guy who is a leader, canucks cant throw someone like him away hes to good of a team player.. but if they do decide to get rid of him one day.. im gunna find John Ferguson Jr's number and have a nice little chat with him.. oh and bieska isnt as smart as ohlund, he gets too many PIM but his point count isnt bad.

Bieksa without question. I may be a little biased, don't like Ohlund. I think most people would agree Bieksa is more crucial to the success of the Canucks.

Bieksa is younger, faster, and more mobile. He's not as smart as Ohlund, but he will gain that in time.

Ohlund looked terribly slow last year and that's fatal in this day and age.
