the notebook is a lovely film it makes you think doesnt it. after watching stepmom for the first time and crying my eyes out it made me realise how short life is and that you have to make the most of your family before its too late. it hurt me to watch in some ways because of the closeness between the mum and daughter which is something ive never had. so many films have had an effect on me in some way or another, i just wish i was dedicated enough to make the changes in my own life.

When I was 14 we watched Let Him Have It in English class, to do an assignment about it. You probably haven't seen this film, but it's the true story of Derek Bentley, who was executed in England in 1953. The film made some of the girls in the class cry. It made me a passionate advocate for worldwide abolition of capital punishment.

the pursuit of happyness. it made me realize how much i have and how much i have been given and how lucky i am. after my brother and i watched it... we did a 2 week long fundraiser and then went up to new york and got in touch with some agencies and helped people get out of that tough stage in life. it is amazing how thankful people are when you help them. anyway, that movie just changed my life so much because my dads side of the family is very wealthy and they kinda do whatever and my moms side is wealthy also but her sister is having a very tough time because she had divorce -- and has 3 kids and is living in new york. so we are doing more and more fundraisers not only to benefit my aunt but also to benefit everyone else. i know it seems crazy that the family is wealthy and she is living rough in new york -- she doesn't accept anything. she wants to get through this on her own. we finally got her out and she is living in my uncles home in florida while he is in boston for the year. if you haven't seen that movie -- it is truly an awesome movie.

awww its a really good movie but it has a really good ending tho- how they both knew and rembered each other an their memories together... its such a nice story :(
i really liked blood diamond, it showed us how unjust the world is covering up so much shi t, it makes you wonder if ahlf the people in the world have a heart. The violence is also what actually happens there, its not entirely just a made up story, i really dont like diamonds now just because of all the conflict they have created !! have a good weekend :)

"Regarding Henry" with Harrison Ford.
I think I was in a very sensitive moment of my life. This movie made me remember what is really important. I had decided not to study languages and study Laws, after the movie I changed my mind and now I am happy i did that.

I have never watched anything that has had an effect on my life.
Films may make me sad or even cry...some frighten me...but when the film is over...that's it.

The Deer Hunter - even if I just hear the music now I get shivers, I thought it was brilliant but I hated it at the same time.
