Thought of changing my car yesterday - today she's been a bi*ch! - anyone else experianced this?

Thanks hurtin - mines a 97 xj300 - she just loves attention! good luck with yours - we need cars like that on the road for nostalgia!

Cars are just like big metal people! I find when I wash & wax mine & vacuum the interior, she loves the attention & purrs like a kitten for the next few days!

its always the little things that get overlooked when servicing a car that causes the problems. things like dirty electrical connections, loose connections, etc. i also have classic cars that are reliable for the most part.

How often do you maintain her? The more attention, the fewer problems.
Check for gas -duh- then check ignition. That's usually the first to go, maybe low/old battery, bad ignition module, a loose connection somewhere. Wet or cold weather can affect your honey- do you park her outside?
Get it running, then apply wax and polish- they run better, then.
