I am 14 and am wearing briefs or boxer briefs to sleep and to breakfast and watching tv with my family. They have no problem with it but i want to see if i should. On weekends, sometimes i never change into a shirt and pants.

I did the same thing growing up. Heck I live alone now and I do it all the damn time. People come over and I don't even get dressed. Its all about what you are comfortable with dear. Nothing more and nothing less. Who cares what anyone else thinks?

If your family doesnt have a problem with it and neither do you then why are you asking this? You want us to tell you if it's right or wrong, well I would say at breakfast throw a shirt on and then after that get dressed. If you don't wear a shirt and pants all day, you aren't going outside (well I hope not anyways) and you are being lazy.
Moral of the story: Get dressed, go outside and play.

As long as your family doesn't have a problem with it.It's your home.
As you get older,you should buy some light weight sweat shorts .You are becoming a young man! And as you grow and your body changes.It is better to have clothes on which will hold down when you get "sudden unannounced erections".Those you have no control over.And you should want those things about your body to be private as possible.And I sure your family wants to save you and themselves from being embarrassed by company that decides to drop by for a visit!
I'm sure you will want to do this ALL on your own in the next couple of years!

Boxers are alright to sleep in, but why not try comfortable jeans and a t-shirt around the house?

Basketball Shorts!! and maybe a t shirt if your family doesnt like nipples. Bball shorts are comfy and socially acceptable but they might as well be boxers or the comfort factor, and, if you have unexpected company you dont look like a slob in boxers. hope that helps.

im mean boxers are ok but briefs are just a little disturbing (for walking around the house)

i think thats fine. I wear pajama pants and a tank top to bed and sometines i stay like that on the weekends unless im going some where

Yeah, i think of its wonderful I have confidence your mothers and fathers arent pervs =P in case you experience uncomfortable, then i assume purely positioned on something else untill you easily get on your mattress to sleep -Ash

I see no issue with it. I am a parent and my son has always done this. When he was real young he used to run around and call himself "Captain Underpants". lol
