Pretty easy, I wish I was taking your Algebra 2. This is basic Algebra at my school. -_-

*=multi

X= -3, so you want to take -3^3 right? Here:
1)
-3*-3*-3=(-27) + -3*-3= (9) + -3

The symbols reverse because, a negative times a negative will make a positive. However, a negative times a positive will still be a negative. Parenthesis: () are just ways of showing multiplication.

So, -27+9-3 or -27+6 = -21.... -21 is your answer.

2)
3x-4y+3x-4y= 6x-8y that's your answer.

The symbol is reversed when you switch numbers over the inequality sign.
