it's different for everyone. You're so lucky it didn't hurt, I was in a little bit of pain.

The hymen which usually covers the entrance to the vagina (except for a small hole to let the menstrual flow through) may have already been loosened or ruptured (torn) by other activities, not involving sex, so you may have been a PHYSICAL non-virgin, even though you were one. Some of the activities that could cause this are horse riding, ballet and jazz type dancing (those involving splits and high kicks), severe falls, etc. And rarely some women are born with out one.
So if the hymen wasn't there to tear, there would be less reason for pain during the first time.
Also as others have said, if you were relaxed and properly stimulated, there would be no pain (or very little) and whatever there was would be swamped by the pleasure.
You are so lucky that your first time was so good, just accept that as a gift.

Mine didnt hurt either... it IS normal!!!

"Many boys and girls are concerned that it will hurt the first time they have sexual intercourse. It can hurt and some girls do bleed a little bit. The bleeding usually occurs because the girl has a hymen which breaks the first time she has sexual intercourse.

The hymen is a small piece of thin skin which goes across the opening of the vagina and protects it when she is young. It has some gaps in it where the blood can come out when she has her period. Sometimes a girl might already have broken her hymen without knowing about it. For example, this can happen as a result of playing sports or horse riding."

Yes it's normal. Some hurt and some don't. We are all physically, mentally, and emotionally different.... and predjudicially as well ... your boyfriend has an impractical predjudice and misconception that all first time girls shoud hurt. I've read books about it. That is not always true. I would call you very fortunate, and your boyfriend uninformed. One thing it suggests strongly to me though is that you were highly receptive and welcoming to and aroused by your boyfriend.

Thats good that it didnt hurt! I didnt hurt my first time either. Let your man know that everyone's body is different and the hymen can break at an early age which is what usually makes it painful. He should be happy you werent in pain. Congrats on loosing your virginity and remember to always practice safe sex

Why it probably didn't hurt is because your boyfriend gave you alot of foreplay and made you have an orgasim, which lubricates the vaginal area for the male to easily penetrate you, which is what suppose to happen with all couples. Sadly most Australian men are very slack when it comes to foreplay and then wonder why the female is not keen on having sex too much.

Everyones 1st time is different. some hurt really bad others hurt a little the theres people like you that didn't hurt at all. Then it could have been that you were so relaxed and ready for that moment that you were able to enjoy it to the fullest. tell your bf that that's a compliment to him ;)

Don't worry. It didn't hurt for me either. And there was none of the spotty bleeding that I was told to expect. So, I wouldn't worry about it.

As for your boyfriend, tell him to do some research about the subject before he goes passing judgment on you. Like was already said in previous answers, it IS different for everyone.

Take care hun!

It didnt hurt for me either. And I didnt bleed. He doesnt believe me either. I swore to him he was my first. I looked online to see why I didnt bleed and I found that it could be becuase I tore my hymen tissue or whatever (known as popping your cherry) before and didnt realize it. Like maybe I rode a bike or doing whatever. Tell him to look it up online. He'll see.

My first time didn't hurt either, but that was because my hyman had already been broken, I don't know how I broke it, but it happened. It is a pretty good probability that is the same thing that happened to you.
