Absolutely!
I was born in 1973, I grew up listening to The Eagles, The Beatles, James Taylor, Kansas, Boston, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart. etc....
My Mom used to sit in the living room while she was pregnant with me with headphones on listening to Led Zeppelin while my Dad and his friends partied. I got it straight from the womb!!! Music is and has always been very important in our lives. It's my passion and I couldn't imagine life without it, it's like air for me.
Great question!

I guess I maybe the odd one out. I don't even remember what my parents listened too. I was always in my own world and listened to what I wanted and my parents never really cared about my music choices. I followed my own part in every thing I did. By the way I listened to:
Led Zeppelin, Elton John, The Beatles, Joan Biaz, Cat Stevens, The Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, Bob Seger, The Carpenters, The Carrs, Simon and Garfunkel, Billy Joel, The Eagles, Steely Dan, The B-52s, Chicago, Jackson Brown, Rod Stewart, David Bowie, Randy Newman, Al Green, Frank Sinatra and many more.
You can say I am a rock n roller from way back.

Get this: my mother always used to play her Beatles records when we were kids - and it was only quite recently that I found out that she is really more of a Rolling Stones fan!
I probably like the Beatles better than the Rolling Stones - but I am not a huge fan of either.

My parent's music is the music of the 60's... the Doors, The Beatles, etc. The older I get, the more I love it.

Yea, i grew up listening to country music and now i love it. Its one of my favorite types of music. Neither of my parents listened to rap/hiphop and i hate both of them. Rock and pop are ok.

Most of it. My Dad loved opera though..which I never could like. I think it was because I didn't understand what was being sung..and that one certain lady..well..when she belted out that certain type..I always wondered how she didn't hurt herself...it sure hurt me...
