The best metal guitar solo, huh? Hard to name one (since I listen to a lot of metal) but here's a list:
Hangar 18 - Megadeth
Practice What You Preach - Testament
One - Metallica
Beyond The Realms of Death - Judas Priest
Angel of Death - Slayer
They're all especially amazing, and easily in my mind the best metal guitar solos.
