I recently got some grape hyacinth, snowdrop, and crocus bulbs for my garden. What's the best planting time for the Upper Peninsula of Michigan? Also, should any of the bulbs be planted sooner or later than the other bulbs? Any help is appreciated :)

Fall is the time to plant bulbs, anytime before the soil freezes. You can plant them all at the same time if you like. Take some time to visualize the heights of the flowers while you are planning the planting. You can plant the different bulbs in groups close together for masses of color. Also take into account the different blooming times.

I live in a similar climate and my bulbs have always performed best when planted in the fall. In my option, Spring is too late because a lot of growth could take place before the soil could normally be worked. Go for it!

Before the ground freezes would be good. really. Plunk em, but keep in mind the height they will achieve in your layout.
