I'm sorry, but you two were shocked that Pavoratti died? He was born in 1935 and had Pancreatic cancer for a year...It's sad, he lived longer than many with Pancreatic cancer (incl. my grandfather) was surely an icon and he will be remembered forever, but it was NOT shocking...
(sorry, don't mean to be rude)
I was shocked, however, to learn that our fellow p&ser TEA had passed away. We talk and laugh with the same people every day on here, and never realize the kinds of real-life issues and illnesses others may be enduring. It is very sad, and she will be missed by many people here.
