I want to get my cartilidge(or however you spell it) pierced. I am known as a good girl, would this give people the impression that I am a punk??? I don't want it to. does it hurt? Left ear right?? Should I get it done or not???

Well I have many friends with it pierced and no one thinks their punk, they just think its cute

Sure go ahead and do it. If you are a guy, then pierce the left ear as the right ear pierced would give the impression that you are not straight. If you are a girl, it doesn't matter which ear. Make sure a doctor does it. Happy piercing!!

It won't give people the wrong impression, lots of "good girls" I know have this piercing . Yes, it hurts more than the lobes & the pain lasts longer & it takes longer to heal. Get it pierced on the side you don't sleep on & only get it done because YOU want it done.
Also, make sure you get it done with a needle. Plenty of my friends ears are screwed up from getting it done with a gun.

Not at all, I have it done and I am not punky at all. It only stings for a few seconds. If you just wear a small stud, it actually looks really cute. As far as which side, I would get the side pierced that you don't sleep on as much, this way when it's healing it won't bother you to sleep on it... Good Luck =)

depends on what earring ur getting, like 4 ex. if u get like an earing with a spike on it or one that looks like a tounge ring then u look punk but if u get a regular diamond earring then im pretty sure u would look great, and no it doesn't hurt, all u feel is a lil pinch. and it doesnt matter which ear bcuz ur a gurl.

I know tons of people who have their cartilage done, it don't mean you're a punk. It really doesn't hurt much. It's like a lobe piercing. I got mine in my left : ]

Heck, I'm the good girl too (so they think!) and I got my nose pierced. People were shocked, but they liked it, so... whatever.
That's just my nose, but anything getting pierced at all needs to be taken GOOD care of or BAD things will happen.
