Hans Holzer wrote a series of "Ghost" non-fiction Books; Ghost Hunter, Ghosts I've Met, Yankee Ghosts, and one I picked up over in Ireland, The Lively Ghosts of Ireland." You might want to do a Web search using the above or go to your local library.

Go to www.shadowlands.com They have some pretty good stories. You should ask if anyone has some good ghost stories. I'm sure that many people including me would answer. I am a paranormal researcher. You should look up the Entity Case. That is really creepy. Just go to google. Or if you want to look up something unexplainable look up spontaneous human combustion. Good Luck on your search!!!
