Actually "Palmerpath" really answered this question well. He's right, hearing your lover say your name makes it really special and it makes you feel incredible. It is better than generalizing it with "oh honey" , "oh baby", "oh sweetie", "oh God"...teheeee...no seriously saying the persons name or the person hearing their name is really intimate and it lets each other know you are focusing on them completely. Especially if you communicate alot during this time...saying their name is really zoning in on that person completely...

Hearing your lover say or whisper or cry out your name during lovemaking is very personal, very caring and very sensuous. It lets you know your lover isn't thinking of just the physical exercise and release, but of the intimacy of sharing this moment and how special you are to them.
And it sounds a heckuva lot nicer than "Stud", or "Rat-Boy", or "Hey, you!", or "Mr. President", or "Speedy"...
