I don't understand why the majority of people call each other humans instead of Earthlings. I believe Earthling is more of a proper term to call ourselves. What do you think???

Earthling would encompass everything living creature on the planet..ie my dog is an earthling...we have to be specific, earthling canine or earthling human, or earthling grasshopper...see how that clarifies..

If we had aliens from other planets comin our way and living here or visiting then yes call us earthlings but till then call ourselves human beings.

i think earthling sounds scary and weird..humans are what we are mostly known as, so lets just stick by that

We are humans...or Homosapiens - We evolved from Neanderthals - who evolved after homo-erectus -who evolved from Australopithecines - who evolved from in laymen terms....monkeys
