No,nor uncommon. Some do,some don't. It's considered conducive to mental health not to be dependent on one group.

i think so, you're not going to have all the same interests as your friends, so you may share some interests with one group, and one with another

yeah. just not for me. i don't have "groups" of friends. just a few close friends that i wouldn't trade for any number of groups of friends.
