All says he is eternal, immortal ect as one with no begining and no end! These are like word play and oes not constitute to define the God for meanigful understanding. On Earth, every one who beleives the God has in mind, the God as just like a human with hands, legs and head only and also they pray all those lived and died, like Jesus Christ, Prophet Mohamed and the Avtar Krishna! Just imagine God has created Earth. The Earth itself is 600 billion trillion tons of matter currently running at 1800 kilometer per hour on its geo-physical axis and running at unbeleivable 108,000 kilometers per hour on the solar path, more than a million kilometers per hour on its revolving path across the milky way galaxy and at last it is speeding at an incrediable speed of 1200 kilometers per second on the path of galactic movement! How exactly a GOD could manage to set these things in its form for today's existence?

God, the Almighty, has created the wonderful universe long, long ago, without any model! He is the ONE and ONLY God.
whom people have been invoking since the beginning of times, by different names, such as : Ila.Ilu, El, Ehyah,Allu, Yehway and Allah. He is eternal and Independent. If He wants to create anything He would say,"Kun" (Be), and it is done (faya kun)!
He has neither begotten any son or daughter, nor was He begotten by anybody!!
He, being uniqueanduncomparable, cannot be sculpted, engraved,or reproduced in any other form. Nor has He come to earth as an Incarnation till now!
He is referred to as a masculine, but he is not a replica of Man!
He was there before the universe was created and He only would be there when every thing would be destroyed.
He gave man life, made him live, love, marry, beget children, grow old, suffer and die. On the Day of Resurrection, He would make mankind come to life, answerable to his deeds and bless the righteous with everlasting life in the paradise and the sinners would be made to suffer in Hell!
These are truths, that cannot be challenged
nor the bonafides of the Lord could be suspected!

There is a peculiar way in which your question has become in the past a proof of the existence of god.

Now, this is pure Aristotelian stuff and I don't particularly agree. I have done my fair share of doubting and perhaps this may help.

All movement has a cause. Each cause is itself movement and therefore it is tied to a prior cause. If movement (time) has a beginning, there must be a first mover: A Mover Unmoved. I guess such a supernatural phenomenon could not be explained as being anything but a creator. (By the way, time does not need to have a beginning, it may not even be linear)

Was it St. Augustine who adapted Aristotle's Teleology to Christianity? I believe so, but it could have been Aquinas for all i remember of Phil 101.

Anyhow, I hope I was of help.

Hello.

This is the question no one can answer. He is God! He is real! He is all-powerful. If we understood, how he worked, would he really be GOD?

"In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth..."! So, God was already here, in the Beginning, it clearly states.

"Gods ways are above our ways, his thoughts above our thoughts..", this verse states we are never to understand God. No matter how smart we THINK we are, God CREATED us, how much smarter, is he? Think about that for a moment, and then move on to the next paragraph.

"and if these are created by GOD then by logic.." Stop there. God does not work by what we know as "logic". His ways are unexplainable! I go back to the verse, Gods ways above our ways. You can't figure God out with logic.

Man thinks they're so much smarter than God. Did you hear about the Titanic?

God is the creator, not the created. If something created God, what created that? And again, and again, if you wanna talk logic, LOGIC says, it has to start and end somewhere that somewhere is GOD.

I agree with the comment that says, "trust me, if you know you are God"!

God created us, he created our minds -- because we are created, we think everything has to be created. God was not created, he just always WAS! So he understands, that he doesn't have to be created -- but he didn't make our minds to understand such complexity, so we are baffled. So to answer your question simply, he just "was".

B(y)T(he)W(ay):

To ask such a question, is not childish -- it only proves you are human. It is of the human nature, to be confused, however if we were supposed to know the answer, God would've written in it the Bible, and gave us the brain/knowledge/ to understand it.

God, according to me, is our belief, a positive feeling which helps us in ordeals of life. since u have asked this question, u might really be a logical person with a rational thinking. But everything in this universe cannot be reasoned accurately. & when u say about lord Krishna, he was no god. but yes, he is considered so, today because of his good qualities. lemme tell u how it works. From now on, after years & years, there might be a generation, which would be worshipping Mahathma Gandhi as god. & thats the same with prophet & jesus Christ.

Classical Christian theology asserts that finite, conditioned, and contigent reality has as its ground of being that which is infinite, unconditioned, and eternal by nature. That God is uncreated, meaning eternal, having neither beginning or end, represents the infinite, qualitative difference between God and the world. Consider how Thomas Aquinas explores this distinction in the "Summa Theologica" or for a more contemporary presentation of how God's eternal nature is related to the contingency of the universe, read Mortimer Adler's "How to think about God."

There is no logical reason to believe in God. Logic has nothing to do with it. When talking to someone that has a NDE, usually that persons views on God and what will come after this life has changed. Most are much more positive in the knowledge that God is all powerful and really can do whatever he chooses. It is the free will of man,or woman that decides if he wants to believe or not. All powerful and knowing all does not mean you will get what you want from God, but through faith, You just might..don't mistake God with religious beliefs.

In mathematics, there is a field called topology. In topology there is a shape called a Klein bottle.
Your question is a verbal Klein bottle and just as useful.
There are people who have the flexibility to view their own back door, this question is an example of psychological back door peeking.
Enjoy the image.

Dear anjanaa, you ask for a meaningful understanding for how God was created, but none of us is able to satisfy your inquiring mind. You need to realize the vast existential distance that lies between God and a human being. Don't get disappointed when most of the replies you get say that God is infinite and eternal. It isn't word play. It's true and it's also our noble, but futile effort to explain something our finite mind cannot grasp. Be joyful that you cannot know everything, because that gives much meaning to our existence.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.

God is always the creator and not the created .
