I would definitely say it's the food that I love about Japan. I have a good taste for any food that is Japanese, like sushi, sashimi, and anything that is cooked in teriyaki sauce, like chicken. Good food!
Anime is another thing that I also love about Japan. Many animated stories show excellent depictions of the local Japanese culture, especially the customs that the characters use.

I like Japanese classic literature, Japanese pottery, Japanese gardens and Japanese castles. Also like Japanese traditional sweets, Japanese festivals and parades, washi(rice paper), maccha and azuki(and anything with azuki), Japanese myths and legends, fairy tales and folk beliefs.
I like the fact that Japanese don't steal(compared with Europe, where they will steal your head if they could), have respect to each other despite of the social status( there are exceptions, though), are VERY clean(generally speaking), and have respect to the authorities, which leads to bigger safety and lower crime rate, as well as general social order and less causalities in case of natural disaster. I also see a huge advantage in the fact that most Japanese are not individualists(=egoists) like the Westerners. Maybe the West should try to change this first. Is it possible ?

Just living here is what I love.
Listen ,there always will be some hassles no matter where you live. When you keep picking on the little things life goes by and you miss the big picture.Make yourself at home is my policy .

Based on my parents living in Japan for 3 years, they're clean and efficient people. Almost of them never let their fantasies interfere with their normal lives and are very industrious. I admire Japanese people and wish I had more Japanese friends.
