that limit will be positive infinity because when you graph this function on your calculator you can see at x= 2 is vertical asymptoes.
limit from the left of 2 and the limit from right of 2 are the same direction going upward forever and closed to x= 2 therefore limit x go to 2 is infinity.

limx→2 1/(x-2)²
= limx→2 1/(x² - 4x + 4)
= limx→2 (1/x²) / [1 - (4/x) + (4/x^2)]
= (1/4) / [1 - 2 + 1]
= (1/4) / 0
= infinity
