I do personally believe that trust is an element of faith. I am looking for how other people personally define faith apart from religious beliefs. What is faith as it pertains to personal relationships?

Wow!! well, i had FAITH that you would ask another question one day soon! haha
seriously though, faith in relationships to me (and relationships are varied) entail alot of "confidence" that no matter what the circumstances, the outcome would come out for the best. We are all a summation of our past (childhood, etc); and faith in relationships require PATIENCE, LOVE AND TOLERANCE as people be who "they are" to the best of their ability. faith entails believing that the people in "relationships" have an underlying desire to see each other happy; so this may not always be expressed as such. We are all human, and all falter; and faith require ACCEPTANCE as each individual grows and the relationships mature and endures with time.
