Hi guys,

I am a member of one of the student organizations (graduate) at University of Texas. We would like to raise some money for our organization. One way is selling T-shirts. I want to know that how can I get any deals from T-shirt manufactures or local T-shirt designinf businesses for it?

Put together a proposal for the manufacturers, explain what the money will be used for. Make certain to have your organizations name and address and tax id number so that they have a write off for their taxes.

If they do decide to help you, most likely they will sell them to you at their cost and then you sell for however much you think you need to to make your goal.

If you need help organizing this, please review my website below. If interested in my services - which even as a non-profit organization you can budget in for services such as mine - then complete and submit the form on the Contact Us Page.

Either way, best of luck

If you're doing less than 50 at a time, or even less than 200, check out your local T-shirt printers in the yellow pages phone book.

The industry is HIGHLY competitive so the pricing is usually spot on, no gouging. Call around. Pick the ones that sound good, go down and take a look at the quality of their shirts, and see some of the samples they do of their work. They'll want a minimum order most likely, but they're very used to working with schools, soccer clubs, riding groups, cat shows, etc. and can walk you through the process.

Talk to several, then make your decision. They do all the work, unless you have a specific graphic you want on the shirts. And they make the process as easy as possible for the first time buyer.
