i sent c.d panel to get fixed and the computer hard drive broke and lost all of my data. i asked the geek squad if i should save data before i sent it out and was told no. i signed the paper so its my fault. unfair. called 1888bestbuy. was transferred to the highest sup.and he was horribly rude. he said i was the last person i could talk to and there was no one i could contact that was higher than him that i would be allowed to communicate with. he said he could give me 10,000 if he wanted but wont and offered me 30 dollars for my trouble. when they est. 1,700 recovery data. i said well i'll call everday until someone listens. he said he will charge me with harrassment. He was curt and did not help me. i asked to speak to a superior and he said he was the highest. surely there is somone else to speak to. everyone has a boss and i need somone else in best buy to speak with or write.i told him he will lose an otherwise life long customer and he said "its your choice"

Hopefully you got this guys name.

I would start by writing emails and letters every single day. Find the corporate headquarters address and email address and fire away. Lots of times, it is different people who go thru the letters and emails.

My advice is to keep all of the communications civil. Don't threaten or anything like that. Just keep at it. Soon enough, someone who will help you will hear about this.

Of course, I guess it might make a difference knowing what you are asking for. If you are demanding $30,000 then you will probably get nowhere. If you are looking for an apology and perhaps a discount on the repairs (or even get them for free) then you have a chance. I would doubt that they are going to compensate you for your lost data. So I would not advise you to try to get them to do that.

Purchased Samsung Refrigerator and GE drop-in electric stove at your Rockford, lIllinos Store, over a month
ago. I have never had so much trouble getting it delivered and installed. What a complete runaround. We are
so disappointed with your company.
