As a challenge for all the students in my class out teacher gave us these three pictures of him and asked us to try to figure out on which gridline he's standing on. It has something to do with geography. Any help is extrmely apprieciated... if you know where he's standing or what he means by "the special gridline I'm standing on" please tell me!

Are the pictures all taken in one country? Is it some kind of special line that marks the area where time zones change?

You can see a picture on the site below.
The Prime Meridian, also known as the International Meridian or Greenwich Meridian, is the meridian (line of longitude) passing through the Royal Greenwich Observatory in London — it is the meridian at which longitude is defined to be 0 degrees.

The picture of your teacher stratling and pointing to the line on the brick road is the prime meridian and where Greenwhich Mean time is established. (100% Positive on this one)
The prime meridian is a special grid line, so I would also look for Equator, International Dateline, and so on. I do not think that they are all meridian lines (North Pole to South Pole)
I am not sure of the other 2, one apears to be in the US and the other I am not sure of.

on one picture there's globe with a yellow line below the middle. It looks like it is below the equator. My thought is that it is in Europe and not in the Latin America countries. That's my two cents.

Its the equator - if you google equator landmarks, the one picture has the square thing in it - second row down on the left (link is broken so can't put it here) and the building is the third one along on that line!
