may be anything from a loose accesory mounting bracket, worn engine mounts, or exhaust system touching the frame or body somewhere

Sounds like your electric fan. It can cycle on by you turning on the air conditioner or at a certain temperature. As long as the temp needle remains in the safe zone I would not worry about it.

Check the fluid in your power steering unit, next could be a sign the alternator is going.
