I used to really like them - they were always the "opening act" at the movies .

Compare the Simpsons to Heckle and Jeckle and the others we watched, Yogi bear, even the Flintstones - wow what a difference between Fred and Homer.

Yes I DO!
I liked Road Runner, Elmer Fudd the Three Stooges, the Mickey Mouse Club, hated Kukla, Fran and Ollie, he scared me to death, Romper Room.. Shari Lewis and Lambchop.
I see a pattern here, nothing instructional like Sesame Street......But we SURVIVED! Amazing, no little Einstein learning tools. Violence, hmmmmm

Oh yes I do.. Saturday morning comics...that was the best.. Mom and dad could not get me up for school, but come saturday I was early just to watch all the cartoons. Mighty Mouse, Little Lulu, Popeye, Heckle and Jeckle and others...Wish they made them like that now for kids.

Heckle and Jeckle are merchandising Windex on television commercials now. LOL I vaguely remember Ferdinand. Wasn't he the bull that did no longer combat, purely wanted to sniff the plant existence, etc.

Yes, I remember my dad sitting and watching Heckle and Jeckle, the two crows, and laughing right along with me on Saturday mornings. They don't make cartoons like they used to!

I remember watching them when I was a kid. I would get home from school and there was a program that had them on there.
I am not sure but I think that the Myna bird was in one of their cartoons. I can't remember much about it now except that it was a very tough bird in that cartoon.

I remember them, but I thought they were magpies. At any rate, they were ROFL funny, with a little malicious streak.
Maybe they were the ones who taught Dumbo to fly, too?

The so-called cartoons the past decade are lame.
