My boyfriend and I haven't seen each other since the day we met which was last thursday.
Right now he's out of work and looking for a place to stay. He isn't calling me as often as he did a few days ago and when I asked him about it he said that he has a lot to do and just doesn't have time.
I asked him if another girl is involved and he said no. I asked him if he still likes me and he said yea. Then I asked him where this is going and he said he has a lot to take care of right now, but he really does like me.
I'm 19 and he's 26, is his reason for not calling because he has no place to stay at the moment a good excuse for him not to be calling as much? He has a cell phone and he sends texts asking me how I am.

Honestly...if you met last thursday, you shouldn't be that insecure and so unsure of the relationship. You JUST met, so give it time. He has alot on his mind right now...I know what he's going through...guys don't like girls with no confidence. You're making yourself sound desperate. Try to remember that you have forever to make the relationship work if it means that much. Don't try to rush things.

Sounds like he's taking the time to think things over, perhaps because of the age difference? I realize 19 and 26 is NOT a big age gap, but with his personality that could be the case. Maybe he's just tired? Does he have a demanding job? These are things to consider. If he really wants to make something out of your first meeting, I'm sure he'll come around in no time. It's up to you whether or not he's worth waiting for.

You're lucky it's not 8 years.Your free ,go, dump him, don't call him,you're looking for a big let down ,so forget about him, your 19 he's a 26 year old loser make something out of your life.You are way to young to worry about what you think you might have which is nothing.

Uh, it's only been a week. Not only have you been bf & gf for a week, you've only known him for one week. Jesus, what's your problem? You're young, but you should know better than to behave this way. You act as if you've been together for years, and all of a sudden he pulls this. He probably has another girlfriend/wife and kids for all you know. Men at his age, with nowhere to go and no job never have it together. You're fooling yourself if you think he's serious about you. He may enjoy sex with a 19 year old, but that's about it.

Ummmm....if the guy lost his only source of income then YEAH....that's a LITTLE problem that has to be dealt with.
I think you should unclench and give the guy a break...stop thinking about YOU and maybe....just maybe be a little supportive of the guy out of work and maybe worried about how he's going to pay rent and bills.
I'm sure you probably think the world revolves around you and your need for affection, but..........it doesn't.

Please do not act so needy. It sounds like you went out with him just once. He is not your boyfriend. He was a date. Get some confidence in yourself and make yourself available to others.
