Or are you the type where people have to kiss up to you in order to get a best answer?

Neither. I give the answer that I want and I choose the BA fairly as well. Kissing up actually makes it so I won't choose the person.

No kissing up either way. I don't care if I get best answer. It's nice when I do get it, but not a need.
Best answer from me is given to who I feel earned it. Only once have I given it to someone who was deserving in a bad way and that was my last question. Now, I can't ask any. : )

Neither. Absolutely not. Kissing up would involve tact, and I ain't got none. My Mom said so... Ask anyone...
I don't ask many Qs. Kissing up would do no good, because either you know the answer, or you don't. IF you do know the answer, and you tell it to me: Viola! Best Answer. Seems simple.
I do not ask the subjective Qs that you ask. Which is why I love to answer your Qs, when I can...-sometimes I not only don't know the answer; I don't understand the question! (And I understand that "howzat?" will get me trounced by Y!A) }:>

I give the best quality answer I can. I am here just to offer advice, I don't know anyone personally here, so I don't feel the need to kiss up.

I guess if you considered a compliment a kissup then I am guilty . In my defense, I believe in everything I say and I do not say something I do mean so my compliments come from my heart and are genuine and if others considered that as kissing up then so be it.

No. No kissing, period. Kissing is a violation of Yahoo! Answers guidelines!

No giggling, either!

Naa, I'm not in it for the best answer, although its fun when you get picked, I'm in it for the fun of answering and hopefully giving someone a laugh.

I just say what I think. I don't kiss up to anybody. If they like my answer great and if not oh well.
