1. emphasize your waist without highlighting your curves by color blocking your outfits. Choose a dark bottom and a lighter top, with a belt that matches the pant or skirt.
2. Tight shirts and all high-collar knits will enhance only the appearance of your bust.
3.go with a with a thin belt. dark colors like brown, navy, charcoal and black are naturally slimming.

Make sure you get a shirt to fit your upper half. Most people who have an hour glass shape, like me, tend to have bigger hips and therefor wear bigger shirts then they really need to. Try boot cut jeans, they offset the hips and bring out your curves. Also for more info on what type of jeans are best for your body type. Try checking out the Sep/Oct. edition of Weight watchers magazine page 124. They have an article about that right now. You can just go to just about any store that sells magazines and find WW magazine and read the article there. Good luck!

ohh you are my sister (if woman) in that we have similar body types. I think wrap around dresses fit us the most. that and halter dresses. ohh nicely tailored A-lined skits and pencil skirts which are a teeny weeny too tight are also good. with blouses go for tailored or anything really feminine. stay away from that unflattering baby doll dress, you'll look pregnant. also empire waists are ok. but you need to be careful cos they can give you the pregnant look too. Any thing with a classic look. think 50's,60's and 20's era, make us look our best. try not to wear clothes with shoulder pads,( some are ok) but many will make you look butch. also wear stretch jeans. they emphasize our sumptious curves. and try blouses with boat necks or v necks. hmmm va va va voom. you may also want to consider goin to nordstroms. nice clothes quite pricey. or you can shop thrift stores they have many classic designs. take the full range of your vision when going though. also try ordering online from newport news. great store. girl you have no worries, ours is the best shape to dress, as long as you are really hour-glass, things mold to your shape. ohh and what a beautiful body ours is.

If you have an hour-glass shape that means you are just right, you can shop at any store you'd like.

I would suggest Wetseal and Forever 21 for great prices and awesome creative fashion.

Hi Emily,

Wrap style and belted dresses would work for you. What you want to go for is emphasis on the smallest part of your waist and that will accentuate your curves. If you have Daffy's in your area, you'd do well to shop there.

attempt skinny denims yet with a flare on the backside and tops that have a v next that prepare somewhat boob, doesnt could desire to be tarty. The denims or pants positioned your bum in share.

I personally think tight boobtubes or tight dresses looks really nice. If you have hips which you probably do, try looking for huggers (like skinny jeans but they hug the waist) check out these sites
