I'm not a big fan of buckets of blood and gore, but roomate wants to see 300. Will I be grossed out or is there more to the movie than blood ????

The blood in the movie is filmed in a very artsy manner. It's a movie about 300 men who kill thousands. So yes, it's violent. It's not your typical violent movie because it was adapted from a graphic novel, so it's directed and filmed in a way to put you into the action. If it had been filmed in 3-D, you would've gotten "blood" on you.
There is more to the movie than just blood. It's about heroism, about standing up for what's right no matter the cost. But the majority of the movie involves fighting/killing of some manner.

There, of course, is blood in this movie. I don't like bloody and gruesome movies either, but the way this one is filmed, with the gritty tone, it's like it's not real somehow. I don't know how to explain it. I just know that you will like it and most likely watch it more than once. It truly is a great movie and I hope you enjoy it. The commentary on this movie is worth watching too.

It's a great movie, but the body count is way up there. Blood, stabbing, the occasional decapitation. It's not exactly realistic so that may help, but if you have a weak stomach you may want to sit that one out.

I dint it watch it but my sisters said that there a lot of blood they all like it. We have it at the house i only saw the first part, i dint like it.
The only good thing about the movie that they train the little kids to become strong so they are a lot of guys with six-pack!!!!

it's a really good movie. and i don't like blood and gore either. yes, there is a lot of killing and you might wince a little but it's really good.
