no it is not that Shoaib wanted an excuse to join the ICL it was a genuine loss of temper as u know in the past years also there were some similar cases with Shoaib like slapping Bob Woolmer and many other incidents thats why i think it was a genuine loss of temper and morever i dont think it is shocking coz he has such kind of a temperament.plzzzzzzz vote as best answer if u feeel sooooo!!!!!!!! thanxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It is ridiculous of Shoaib Akthar to act like a child. Adults need
to deal these issues behind doors in a manly way and
throwing fists or punches. I think he is not grown up or he
wants to be a bully life long. In any case his career is over
playing for Pak. So the only opportunity for him is either ICL
or County cricket or join the Bollywood and act as a villain.
I think Pak gave him many chances to prove himself, over and
over again he is in the media for wrong reasons.
Players of his nature need to stay away from media and
behave like an adult. Shame on Shoaib. One way, the way I
look at this is, Pak is better off without Shoaib.

Considering the past record of Shoaib Aktar, the recent incident is purely due to loss of temper as he is known for such temperament.
