I say GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!
I feel bad for VT bc of what happened and all and in any other situation i would root for them. However, Bleeding PURPLE and GOLD here I could never go against my team. I also agree with the other person who made a comment on death valley, its not called that for nothing. LSU is always stronger when they are at home and not to mention a night game FACT!
And as far as LSU offense, I am pretty sure they would not waste their best plays on some game with the death and blind ( that being Miss. st.)
I am so ready for this game not to mention the AL game
I say LSU 24 VT10
oh yeah and.......
GEAUX FIGHTING TIGERS >>>>>WIN THE GAME TONIGHT>>>>>VICTORY FOR LSU

based on the first game of the season i think LSU will have there way with VT. Vt may have had the best defense last year but i didn't see them force 7 turnovers last Saturday. i dont know how you can say a 45-0 shut out isn't impressive. it is real hard to base a team off of what they did last year just ask Michigan. i am taking LSU by 16 points.

I think there will be many disappointed Virginia Tech fans. LSU will wear them down and then have their way with them. Have you ever read the statistics for teams playing at Death Valley especially in a night game? I only hope that the suicidal tendencies are kept to a minimum.

Yeah VA Tech had the #1 defense in the nation last year, in yards against, as well as fewest points allowed (pretty sure on that one). It should be a good game, it's pretty obvious now that there are no "locks" in college football...people don't care what the name on the jersey is anymore...it's still a bunch a kids that just got outta high school. So on that note, i'll say VT 24 - LSU 22

Hate it how no1 is giving VT a chance because our Offense wont match up against there really good Defense. guess no1 remembers that VT had the number 1 ranked D the last year with most of them back...VT has a great chance at winning and i acutally believe they will. They have a very very good D, which was a fluke last week with that emotional win..look for them to bounce back with a 17-3 win..hokie nation is on top.
LSU DOES NOT HAVE A BETTER D THAN VT RETARDS

LSU and VT both had crap for O in my opinion.... I mean MSU damn near got 2 safeties!!!
I think both teams have one offensive TD, one defensive TD and a few field goals.... LSU has the better D.... they keep a better field position and get a few more points because of that to win
LSU 20 VT 17

I hope Virginia Tech has a good year. They really need it down there what with the tough year they've had. However, I don't care who ultimately wins....as long as they beat USC.
