The NFL regulations committee desperate this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days that in basic terms one million participant on the sector might have the verbal substitute device of their helmet at any time. SO for the refs to have the capability to verify who on the sector has it and to make optimistic not greater then one million has it, all helmets that have the verbal substitute device could have a green dot on the back of them. Now usually the QB on offense is the only that has it.

God Bless you...

coach_e23 has it right...They have the green sticker to indicate that radio transmitter helmet--there can only be one on the field at any given time. So if a team were to run a goofy formation with two QB's, one would have to take off the transmitter helmet, or that team would get an illegal procedure penalty.
