just started a new job, and this guy that works with me, works in another room, and when he passes by , he always looks in the room,(but I guess that might not really mean anything) and everytime he passes by he always come in and chit chats, and he'll ask me what I'm doing(even though there are two people in the room) and he'll sit in my desk, and look at my computer, and ask ME stuff about politics, and news..I mean it's very casual but he always asks me if I went to lunch yet, and today, me and another co -worker sit in the same room and while they were talking I started doing my own thing typing my other friend on the computer, and he stood behind me and kept hitting my chair...and I'm thinking why does he keep doing that, and then he asks me if I know of a good church, because he hasnt been to one...'s been herein the city for almost eight years ...I'm confused as to why he's playing dumb and being nosey.. Well anyhow what do you think

This guy wants to hit on you but he doesn't have enough character to be straight forward. His act is passive aggressive with all the questions, and getting into your space, and even looking at what you are typing. I'm not clear on what type of working situation you have but you need to file a complaint with a supervisor or whatever structure is available. His act will only get worse. He may even begin to assume he can touch you if he gets too comfortable in your space.

It's not that serious. Maybe he thinks you are a good person and thinks you will be nice to talk to. And there is always the possibility of him liking you. Some people are naturally nosy. If you want him to get off of your back, answer some of his questions and tell him you need to get back to work. It's a simple problem, with a very simple solution. Don't make it complicated and good luck!

Well my opinion I think he either likes you alot!
My advice would be stay away from him! obviously he's stalking you for some reason.Now I'm not saying your not attractive but he wants something from you and you could get hurt if you play along. Just mind your own buisness and if he says anything profanic to you report him immediatly!!!!!!

Girl it sound like he's flirting in his own so-called little way. U know how some guys, that don't really know how the game go, but think they know, what they doing, & trying to peep a female out in their own way! Well that's what he's doing cause he probly don't have game,so he's comming @ you with the lame game! Girl I guess(smile)!

He probably does like you but it sounds like he could be controlling. What you type is none of his business. Hitting your chair while you are typing is a way to mess you up and return attention to him. I would tell him to leave you alone and if he doesn't then report him.

Yea he likes you and is doing his best to work up the guts to ask you out. If that is what you want give him some answers hell ask him. If not tell him that you and your husband/bf/gf what ever.... like this restaurant or shop at this place.

I don' t know what his position is, but either he likes you, or he's fishing for information to pass time while he snoops. I would be very careful if I were you. At least get to know him before you open up.

i'm thinking he's trying to flirt with you, and trying to find a way to ask you out. sounds like he wants to get to know you better. next time he starts with all the questions ask him why he wants to know so much about you.
