Sometimes birth control can make a girl stop having her period. If it still doesn't come after two months she could be pregnant so she should see her doc. if you are still worried she should talk to her doc. now. it is better to be careful but she should be ok.

How do you mean "she took all the white pills".?

She should wait a week while she has her period before starting the next packet of pills.... Unless... There are a different colour pill in the pack (7 of them), in which case, she should take these while she has a period, then start the new pack. The different colour pills don't contain the hormones, they are just so she doesn't forget to take any, or doesn't forget when to start the new pack.

If she's taking them properly, though, she should go to a doctor and get checked out becasue she should have had a period by now. The pill is NOT 100% sure, see the pic next to this? That beautiful girly is product of mixing the pill and antibiotics...

Good luck!!

She could be pregnant, yes, but here's what's more likely. The pill makes the uterine lining (which is what a period is - the shedding of the uterine lining) very thin. For some women, this will mean she won't get a period at all. Others will have a normal period, and others will have a lighter period.

Also, she might not start the instant she starts on the non-active pills, it could take a couple of days.

So depending on how long she's been taking the pill, this could be the case. Just to be on the safe side, she should take a pregnancy test no sooner than two days after she was supposed to start her period.

When a woman is pregnant, her body naturally prevents her from getting pregnant again because women's bodies are not equipped to support fetuses at different stages of development. Birth control pills take advantage of this natural phenomenon and work by fooling the body into thinking and acting as if it's already pregnant.

There are two basic kinds of hormonal birth control: (1) the combination pill which is made up of two synthetic hormones (estrogen and progestin) and (2) the progestin-only pill (sometimes called the minipill).

The synthetic estrogen in the combination pill works to prevent the ovaries from releasing an egg. If no egg is released, there is nothing to be fertilized by sperm and the woman cannot get pregnant. In addition, the synthetic estrogen works by suppressing the body's normal hormonal pattern (which involves one egg being developed per menstrual cycle and released for possible fertilization).

Basically, no egg has been relesed so the woman wont have her period.

Hope this helped!

And what type of BCP is it? How long has she taken it (what # pack is she on)?

Its either that she needs to give it time for her period to regulate with the pills, she's pregnant (as NO contraceptive is 100% effective), or there is something internally wrong with her.

She should see her doctor to find out what is wrong.

She could be pregnant or something else is wrong (not cancer).
