I have a bunch of old, used Hodaka motorcycle parts in my shed. They were left by the previous homeowner. Gas tank in decent shape(no dings, but some pitting), rear wheel, handlebars and some other misc. parts. Should i trash them, sell them or give them away?

thx

Wow, talk about a blast from the past! I had an ACE 100 back when I was a kid. Any big Hodaka parts like you are talking about, particularly tanks with the badges still on them are worth money.
When bikes go out of production, parts runs stop also. There may be someone like your other respondent who would go to the ends of the earth to finish a restore job and may be lacking the very parts you have.
People who ride or restore out of production older bikes are notoriously patient for things like you are offering and you may be surprised by how much those will fetch from a fanatic.

Any older motorcycle parts in decent condition are worth selling. My suggestion is go on EBay and look for someone selling parts like you have. This will give you an idea of your parts worth. From your description I would assume that they might be worth about $100.00 to some one who might have a need for them.

If you could be very patient someone can always use used motorcycle parts.Be it they laid their bike down for whatever reason.Like they may have wrecked from being intoxicated, weariness or inexperienced. The list goes on and on,
I can't name all the reasons,to give you an idea I only named a few.
