well its your decision... alot of ppl will have different says on this one. All i know is i took my son off formulas when he was 9 months and i SHOULDN'T have. He is now anaemic due to low iron. If you want to take him off the formulas and give him cows milk i would give him a supplement called infagrow twice a day so that he gets extra iron! You dont want a sick baby!! GOOD LUCK :)

It's better to wait until they are at least 1 year old before introducing milk. Babies are not able to properly digest cows milk until after 1 year old.

Since each child is different, there will be some who can handle it sooner, and others later. My sister in law started her baby on cows milk at 11 months and she was fine. I chose to wait until my son was 12 months. I saw no good reason to introduce cows milk early.

Technically you're meant to attend until 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, yet you're exceptionally close. i think of it is going to be super. start up out by ability of ability of in reality giving him a small volume of cows milk to get him used to it. infant formula is unecessary, besides the shown fact that it does style plenty nicer than the 6 month formula. it extremely is beneficial to purpose giving him countless that. you additionally can attempt goats milk. My 14 month previous maintains to be partly breastfed (3x every day) yet in addition beverages soy milk, cow milk, milo, water, juice and now and decrease back infant formula. I furnish it to him strait from the refrigerator no concerns. He additionally hates the formula for basically a million 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, yet extremely likes the newborn formula (tastes like vanilla milkshake).

My doctor told me that I need to wait until at least 1 year and then slowly introduce it. From my understanding, the earlier you introduce foods that are considered "allergen" the easier it is for them to actually develop an allergy. So hold off until his digestive tract has developed a little more. My daughter is 13 months and eats all types of dairy (yogurt, cheese, etc.) but still CANNOT handle drinking cows milk. It makes her vomit.

It won't hurt. Start out with just a little bit. maybe mix half milk and half formula at first. I started both of my kids on real milk at 10 months.

Don't give him cow's milk until you've asked your pediatrician first. Even after he turns 1, you still need to ask first.

Most Dr's will say at 1 year its ok. so they way i see it if your child is not 1 year then no. but if you feed him formula he is already getting cows milk. best bet is to ask your dr. we are just people with opinions..not drs

My kids' drs said 1 year, but I went earlier because the formulat was so expensive. My kids grew fine, and one is almost 6' tall now. One month won't matter, so long as you supplement the milk with nutritious foods.

I would not start your baby on anything like that without asking the baby's doctor
