ROFL! Omg, I cannot believe how many of us are cereal obsessed! Cracks me up!

The ironic thing about my cereal craving/obsession during my pregnancy is that I never ate it before! I'm lactose intolerant and don't drink milk. So it came as a shock to me when I began craving grape nuts in milk. I gave in and bought some Lactaid milk. YUMMY

My baby girl is 3 mths and the cereal obsession continues!

My personal favorites were Rice Chex, Grape Nuts, Granola w/out raisins, and Oh's.

I think everyone has some craving, and the cravings are as individual as the people who have them. For me, when I was pregnant with my daughter, it was apples, apples, apples! I ate about 3 apples per day--so many, I began eating only organic apples because I was worried about ingesting that many pesticides.

I'm pregnant again, and I've been buying apples, but the craving isn't really there like it was last time. I'm only 8 weeks along, so I don't think I've figured out what the craving is going to be this time.

Just be glad it's cereal you're into (unless, of course, it's Frankenberry and Cocoa Puffs). A friend of mine wanted nothing but Krispy Kreme cream-filled doughnuts. Yuck!

cereal is very healthy - so yo are lucky to crave it

Some people think cravings are your bodies way of telling you, that you are lacking something in it..maybe that is the case, I love cereal as well but its not my cravings..i crave chocolate but i think that is my brains way of dealing with my gestational diabetes...

I wouldn't worry too much, its a great snack just watch it is not a high carb cereal more than 30 g carbs per 3/4-1 cup of you may find you put on a few extra pounds that will be hard to lose.

Good luck

I'm 22 weeks pregnant and I haven't had that problem but my sister in law had to have Captain Crunch cereal in the house during her pregnancy.

Girl, I am 38 weeks and STILL craving Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I have GD so I can't eat any right now but I swear, as soon as this child is born, I'm going to Sam's Club and buying the super-economy sized box and a mixing bowl and I'm going to town, darn it! (lol) Good Luck, Sweetie!

Raisin Bran and Special K...for some reason I couldn't get enough of them during both of my pregnancies.
It's a good addiction, filled with vitamins and minerals, and I embraced it!!!
Big Macs were the not so healthy craving that I had to force myself to limit.
