What's to prevent the people who resent the dog's inheritence from murdering the dog?

This sounds like an Agatha Christie mystery...

I wish I could answer your question. I have no idea. Maybe Leona donated the money to an animal charity, but it is held in trust by the dog until he dies?!? Does this make any sense at all?

With the recent will that gave an old dog $12 million, I have asked the same question of myself and my husband. Unfortunately, we haven't figured out the answer.

I think it depends on where the will was drawn up, and whether the attorney was smart enough to put in provisions to deal with exactly that situation.
