I like the name Jake Clayton Andrews.

If you were to do Clayton Jake and call him Jake anyway that just causes confusion for people. Don't do that.

Well....you could name him Jacob as his full name but call him Jake (nobody uses my full name). I think Jacob Clayton is better than Jake Clayton, but-if you are that opposed to Jacob-Jake is just fine. A very nice name you have. What about if you have a girl?? =p

I really like Jake, and you should definitely keep that as his first name. However, Clayton doesn't really sound too great with Jake. Consider naming him after his great-grandfather for his first name, but comming up with your own middle name. Some suggestions:

Jake Ryan
Jake Gabriel
Jake Peter
Jake William
Jake Tyler
Jake Nicolas
Jake Frederick
Jake Robert

Hope this helps =]

Good luck and God bless

Jake Clayton is the combo I like best (or consider Jacob as his formal/full name, and call him Jake as a nickname.

Jake Clayton sounds like there is too many "AY" sounds in it. I know you don't like Jacob, but Jacob would sound better with Clayton.

Maybe you could go with another J name. I really like Clayton so that should be a keeper. Maybe..James Clayton?

Just my opinion. :]

Why not try Clayton Jay Andrews. Then its like the 'Jay' is short for jake, me and my partner did this with our son as we wanted jamie in the name but it was too strong so we called him Nathan Jay x
