how do I get rich?

I've decided at the age of 39 with very little money to my name to get very very rich. I know that this is probably a big job but I'm prepared to work hard (still very fit and mentally agile), scrimp and study.

So what do I do and where do I go to find information?

Here are some suggestions:

1) Start by finding out EXACTLY how much money / assets you have NOW.

2) Develop a vision of EXACTLY how rich you want to be.

3) Change your consciousness. Stop hanging around poor people. Find some rich friends, or read some books about becoming rich. Rich Dad, Poor Dad, The Millionaire Next Door, Smart Couples Finish Rich, Multiple Streams of Income, Money Mastery. These things will help you develop a "rich consciousness". This will help you to attract the wealth / opportunities you truly want.

There are two routes. One is being artistic. People buy art because, to them, it's art. That's how vomit on a board can sell for millions of dollars.

Then you can make lots of money (and you don't have to be very good at it ) by handling other people's money or writing a book on how others can make money getting rich.

Then create a much needed product in the marketplace.

Find a way to make it cheap and sell it to the masses.
