Lack of imagination. They are too lacking in the ability to come up with solutions - maybe cos they don't pay so well?
There's more money to be made out of misery - Thatcher taught that to every bleeding economist and none dared argue. Since then Labour have copied, copied, copied every damn blasted move the conservatives in their gross stupidity made. Don't ask me why the people in this country kept on voting for more of the old, old tyranny bordering on dictatorship approach to politics... so there you have your answer- BETRAYAL under the orange tree - there you sold me and I sold you... that's capitalism for you. And "new" labour are capitalists.
(There are a few exceptions EG. Tony Benn - he's a real sweetie).

Hard Labour are now even being advised by the Tories backroom boys who have inveigled their way into Big Brother Brown's good books.

Proles: Live for today. You'll never again have it so good.
