7 and a half, lol.
I would definitely consider the time I slipped and fell on some rocks in a river, from about a metre above the ground, a life losing opportunity. I didn't hit my head, or break my neck, back, not even a rib, an arm or a leg, I came out completely okay, just really shaken and petrified, but I don't remember a few seconds of my life as I was laying there, semi-inconscious. I guess there was a special someone looking after me that day. Anyway, I god a beating afterwards, damn it, my Gran kicked the **** out of me, as punishment for scaring the **** out of her...lol, it happens...
And that 1/2 life, well, I guess due to the fights I've had during my life, the times I sprained my ankle(7) and hit my head on several objects/surfaces. What can I say, I was, and am, a very energetic kid.

I think I would still have all 9 of them, I haven't had an close calls in my life.
My cat on the other hand in down quite a few, he has fallen from the upstairs railing twice, be almost stepped on so many times as a kitten I've lost count and almost be fallen on also. He is a resilient big fella

For those who believe in reincarnation, people can have more than 9 lives! The body is only a vehicule. The soul is eternal. I do believe in it. I wouldn't know how many I have left, but I enjoy living this one although it is not always a bed of roses! LOL
