The only one is my mother-in-law. She makes me want to puke. She thinks she knows everything. I love correcting her when I get the chance!

Depending on what I said wrong and who was there to hear me will determine what happens. Some family members wont even notice. Some are quick to correct and others start laughing immediately. It's alright either way. you learn something new everyday right.

I live in Italy,I have to speak Italian all the time.Occasionally my brain runs faster than my tongue and I mispronounce a word.My husband is the first one to comment and laugh, then whoever is around joins in.I always tell them, when they can speak another language,THEN they can take the piss.

Sometimes, depends on how bad i murder the word. Though my BF tends to take everything i say literally and if I use a word that isn't the exact correct word, he throws it back in my face.

I don't think it's gonna last much longer, to be honest.

I speak well.
But I know there are members of extended family that will criticize, given the chance,

Usually I feel like correcting others, but try refrain.

we laugh it off and then we share the correct pronounciation. All of us do that accasionally. The laughter is never offensive, but again we all are having fun together.

Well, if it's with my bf, he corrects me, and I've asked him to. I 'm learning to speak spanish (he's from Mexico) and I'm about halfway there. I figure since he learned English, it's the least I could do.

My husband makes fun of me, but usually refuses to tell me the correct pronounciation. He likes to make fun of my accent, but I make fun of his accent too.
