Do your research (opinions, specs, reviews, etc.) on what to buy and the program's minimum requirements BEFORE you buy. Otherwise you are an unhappy camper who will have no ability to return a video card.

wether your gf8500 sucks or not depends on the resolution you are trying to play on, the amount of graphic settings you are willing to compromise on a given game and your budget.

If you are unhappy with the results you are getting and are willing to spend more, then take your card back and get a better one.

What are the rest of your specs? FSX is a very CPU intense game.
