How old do you have to be to purchase from a Coffeeshop in Amsterdam?

Just as the title says. I've heard there is actually a certain age you have to be. Is this true? If so, do they enforce it?

You must be 18 to purchase pot in a coffeehouse. And yes, they enforce it. They're already in the legal grey area and don't want to take any risks.

You obviously have to be an adult. And if you are asking this question you are too young to consider this sort of things, they are dangerous and this is why you are not allowed to use them when you are young and you can still be saved!
