I believe he was the best choice for president that was available at the time of both elections. After 9/11, he did what any president should have done, he went after terrorists and those who harbored them.
The Invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq may not currently be popular, but now there is one more democratic country in Asia. The Taliban was dethroned. A people was liberated. They thank Bush for that. The Taliban may be making a comeback, but it is because Congress is not giving our armed forces the tools they need to defeat the terrorists.
I also believe that the Iraq war was needed, and if you remember, we believed that Saddam Hussein was a threat to the United States because he HARBORED terrorists, and had WMD's, and chemical and possibly biological weapons. Saddam was overthrown, and it was discovered later that ther were no WMD's or other major weapons of war, but if you turn on the news, you will see that Iraq, because of the rule of Saddam, still harbors terrorists, and is a threat to the safety of the free world.
Bush's policy has helped establish a new democratic government in Iraq. If we pulled our troops out now, the human toll would catastrophic, and fighting much, MUCH worse than it is now.
I think history will be kind to Bush, though public opinion has not. After 9/11, he had among the highest approval ratings of any President in history, and now, they are the lowest, because people have already forgotten how very real the threat terrorists pose to America.
Bush ought to be remembered as being among the strongest presidents we have had, just what the country needed for its time of crisis. God bless Bush, and God Bless America!

Many many people on this planet, and this planet, are suffering great hardship because of Bush. There are no two ways about it, the man is evil. He cheated his way into office, hundreds of thousands of completely innocent people have been killed by the massive US war machine while he's been in office. Only rich people (and the media, which is owned by rich people) like him. Around the globe he has generated a fantastic quantity of distrust towards the US, while he's been in office, some of which America will never recover from. He has passed acts, eg PATRIOT, that have removed many rights from ALL US citizens. HE is evil.

George Bush (to me a working slob in the uk) represents everything that is wrong with the us, and directly responsible for thousands of dead.
He and our pm Blair both war mongering madmen should be brought before a war tribunal.
How many more of our young men and women must die.

The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him." G.W. Bush, 9/13/01
Washington Post, 9/17/01, UPI: Bush said he wants accused terrorist leader Osama bin Laden "dead or alive.” “I want justice...There's an old poster out West, as I recall, that said, 'Wanted: Dead or Alive,'"- G.W. Bush, 9/17/01, UPI
AP, 12/14/01: President Bush pledged anew Friday that Osama bin Laden will be taken "dead or alive."

FLOP: Capturing OBL no longer a priority:
G.W. Bush, 3/13/02: I don't know where Bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."
