i dont know why but all my life i have loved anythign to do with war from museums to Medal of Honor, CoD, Battlefield 1942, basically all games, visting old war sites like french beaches, going in old bunkers, thinking hard and being interested in any old war sites, like what happened, and why trenches are blocked up. i even have a few flashbacks of an old bunker...yet...i'm a girl.
is this anything to do with a past life?
i would appreciate any advice or whatever.
thank you.

There is so much of the war genre in movies and on TV that it is most probable that you developed a liking for the images very early in life. Did your Dad watch war movies that you remember?
I don't think being a girl really matters as we all can use our imagination to place us in anothers shoes. I think women can write accounts of war just as good as men.
g-day!

Wars are fascinating.
We are either looking for heroic doings or just the baser instinct in us to inflict pain in others are more strong in the subconscious.
I do love war stories, war movies, documentaries and history.
Some want the triumph of good over evil. But to fight itself is considered an evil, to be angry is considered an evil. And very nice people and good people say there is no anger which is justifiable as right anger.
Well, that is in our nature---conflict. Unless you feel a oneness with nature you are in conflict therefore, we love wars.

A past life concept would add that extra bit of excitement to your life, but I don't honestly know. It's cool you have an alternative interest though, thanks for not being one of the girls who's only contribution in life is to the vanity mirror in heavy traffic, while enjoying cheaper car insurance. Altho I'm being a typical bloke here, building a house of empty beer cans while answering Yahaay questaays. Grunt.

You just have a healthy interest in what is usually a masculine pursuit,,,,at least you will learn about history and the conflicts that have got humanity to where we are today,,,your interests show a deep understanding of what really drives us all, conflict and the pursuit of peace,,as for past lives,,,I am not a follower of that ideology but whatever rocks your boat is fine by me...

I'm very glad that I have never served in the armed forces but I have a similar fascination. I think part of it is the raw courage often related with extreme sacrifice. These are more easily identified in stories of warfare than in other areas of our life

try if you can and watch the film REGENERATION. or read the novel by Pat Barker. Every city, town, village and even farms across the UK have a war memorial. the sacrifice must have an effect on our evolutionary Psyche
