You are fine. From time to time your cycle may miss. This is fairly common, especially in younger women whose periods are just within the first couple of years. If you are not sexually active, you are safe. And, yes, you are right having sex at 14 is way to young. With that, there is a ton of responsibility.... stay innocent sexually for a few years, you won't regret it.
Congrats to you on your mature thinking.

Hi. Maybe a bit odd to get an answer from a guy who's not in medicine, but...
Agreeing with practically everyone else's answers so far... you're young, give your body time, and don't worry.
You seem intelligent, mature and responsible, so rest assured nothing's "wrong" with your body.
I dated a lady several years ago (early to mid-20s!) and she was STILL having irregular periods. In fact, she told me that in her own late teens, there was a time she had NO periods for several months, and though she was sexually inactive, she became quite concerned... despite doctors' reassurances.
So, no.. don't worry. :)
Enjoy your youth, young lady -- have fun. =D
Best wishes!

It is normal to miss a period at your age. When I was your age I missed a period once or twice and I wasn't sexually active either. As you get older they will become regular and you would menstruate every month. Next month you should get your period. If you don't, then talk to your doctor about this issue.

It's normal during the first few years of your menstural cycle for your period to be a little off some months. As long as you aren't having sex there isn't anything to worry about.

Hey, don't u worry, it's totally normal at that age, even at my age, I'm 28, mine still aren't regular!
Generally, the more you worry, the more it can put it off too, so try to relax and forget about it, I'm sure it'll come along - probably when you least want it to!

you might just be a little late - ironically worrying about missing a period can delay it. try not to worry - you're not pregnant. peacex
